The Basingstoke Fire
Walk, in support of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air
Ambulance and Shopmobility Basingstoke, takes place on Friday 8th October at
Basingstoke Rugby Club.
'You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk?' Come and show that you
really are 'that brave' by taking part in this great event. Not only will
you be proving something to
yourself - and your friends - but you will also
be supporting two local charities that really do need your help. Thank you.
(Please note that no entries can be taken on the night).
The entry fee is £50 non refundable) and we ask that you
try and raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship please.

Tributes to be held at Goodwood Revival
GOODWOOD IS TO PAY TRIBUTE TO TWO GREAT BRITISH MOTOR RACING LEGENDS AT THE 2010 REVIVAL
In just seven week’s time Goodwood will be marking the important contribution that two British legends have made to the sport of motor racing over the decades when it pays tribute to multiple World Champion John Surtees and the celebrated British Racing Motors (BRM) marque at the 2010 Goodwood Revival (17-19 September).
The
Goodwood
Motor
Circuit
has played
a
significant
role in
the
careers of
both
racing
driver
John
Surtees
and BRM
(for which
Surtees
drove), so
it is
entirely
fitting
that their
achievements
are
celebrated
with
special
track
parades at
the 2010
Revival to
mark two
important
anniversaries.

Yews Yard Party

The idea of a
joint birthday
party sounded to
me like not such a
bad idea. However
the Yews Yard
party turned into
a full scale
social gathering
for all residents
and Businessmen of
the Yews Yard in
Cadnam, New
Forest.
We consider
ourselves very
fortunate for all
the help and
support from all
residents and
Businessmen of the
Yews Yard, and
also thank Mr
& Mrs H Cooper
the landowner for
his support and
use of his land.
